Using an external editor II

is anybody listening to this forum?

I could not get the external editor copy/paste feature to work as described in section 4.8 of the manual. No matter if I select just one row
or multiple, or just some or several cells, when pasting into Arbil
from Excel it replaces every cell with the value of the first cell on
my Excel spreadsheet. Even if I try to paste column by column, as
described in the manual. Can anybody help me
out with this?
Thanks a lot!
Jan

In order to paste from Excel to a table in Arbil the data copied must have the relevant column headers.
For instance:
"Field Name"Â Â Â “Value”
"Name"Â Â Â “kleve-route”
"Title"Â Â Â “route description to Kleve”
"Date"Â Â Â “2002-10-30”
"Description"   “This recording was made to…”
There is however a limitation in the current version that you can only paste one row at a time (although you can paste it into multiple rows). I will endeavor resolve this limitation in future versions of Arbil.
