Synchronizing successive video files

I would like to know if there is any way to work with successive Video files in ELAN. The date I want to analyse consists of clips from 5 prespectives and each perspective devided in several consecutive clips.
Now if I would somehow put them together to one long file for each perspective there would be different overlaps that would make it necesseray to change the offset in the differnt sections while coding.

I tried manipulating the offsets, but as I understand my situation I would need to assign negative offsets (i.e. a file that starts 25 minutes after the masterfile offset).

I hope I made the problem clear, Can anyone help me here?
Thank you so much.

This is not possible in ELAN without first making one single clip for each perspective. Then these 5 movies can be synchronised in ELAN, where, indeed, it is not possible to set a negative offset. Therefore the starting point of the recording that starts “latest” will be the “minimal” starting point: the overall replay will start from that point or later.
In case you are going to create one clip per perspective, and therefore have to use a video editor anyway, you might as well insert “empty” frames at the beginning of the movies that start “later”. While doing this it might be best to make the 5 movies such that they are already synchronised before they are linked in ELAN (and therefore no more synchronisation in ELAN is necessary).
