Hi, I’ve used video synchronization often and it has always worked. But this time I’ve tried to synchronize two videos in the Synchronization mode and although it works there (plays the two videos without any lag), when I go back into Annotation mode, there is a lag after a while (strangely, not immediately). Has anyone had a similar issue recently? What could the problem be and how could I resolve it?

So the problem is more synchronized playback of multiple videos than the act of synchronization itself? I assume the lagging could start after a while if you would have two videos that don’t need to be synchronized (as in the Synchronization mode)?
When the lagging starts, there are probably no error messages in the log (View->View Log…)?

yes it concerns the playback, that’s right. Although, since yesterday, ELAN (6.1., which I had only just downloaded a few days ago) is generally running slowly, freezing sometimes and crashing. So perhaps it’s to do with the new version?? Anyway, here’s a couple of screen shots from the log, which does indeed contain error messages:

Thanks for the logs! There are indeed a few warning messages, but not of the type that could explain the lagging or freezing. It looks like there is something in the new version that is different from the previous one and that causes these problems. It’s still unclear to me what it is.
Which macOS version do you have?

I have macOS Mojave 10.14.6 on my laptop and Catalina on my desktop. There were problems with both but the log is from the laptop.
