I am running ELAN 5.9 on Mac OS, and one of my videos is not working. The video file was initially .mov and I could not play the sound on ELAN. I then realized that the sound wasn’t working on my computer either when I opened it with QuickTime player, but it worked when I opened it with VLC. So I first converted the file to m4v (with VLC) and then the sound worked when I opened it on my computer. But when I tried to open it with ELAN again (with the updated extension) it still did not work.
I checked the volume slider and everything is normal. I’ve always worked on .mov videos or .mp4 but it has never done that before. If you can think of a solution I’d be really grateful!
