I’m unable to open any .eaf or .mp4 file through ELAN on macOS 10.15.4. Any file I try to open produces the error “No player could be created for {file}”. Please let me know what I can do to fix this. Thanks!
Hi, can you send the contents of the log file as it is after you’ve seen the message you describe? This can be accessed through View->View Log… You may send the log to me (han.sloetjes AT mpi.nl) or, if you can locate possibly relevant messages concerning media playback in there, post those messages here. Without further information it is impossible to advise on how to fix this.
