Timeline display on Linux (ELAN 6.9)

I am experiencing a timeline display issue in ELAN 6.9 on Linux MINT.

When zooming the timeline beyond 150% (using the bottom-right slider or left-click), the time labels overlap. The timeline does not seem to auto-adjust to the window size, which it normally does when I am on Windows. Changing the font size does not fix the issue. I tested ELAN 6.9 on two different Linux machines, and the problem occurs on both.

If anyone has encountered this or knows a workaround, I would appreciate your input.
Thanks!

I tested the zoom slider on my Linux Mint 21.3 Virginia and I cannot reproduce the issue of time labels overlapping.

Is your Mint install uses Cinnamon ?
If yes then, it is good to check the display stack details .
Some search suggests that the option in Cinnamon “Enable fractional scaling controls (experimental)” may cause display quirks to some applications including Java apps. Causing layout miscalculations.
