I have a collaborative project, use Elan as tools for us to do transcription and translation. Once the language data been transcribed, then my task would be to fill the translation of it. However, somehow the transcription tier made by my other team weren’t shown in my laptop. But when I tried in several different laptop, it was shown there. I’ve tried restarting, and even re-installed ELAN 6.3 version, but it still doesn’t work. Please help!

when the .eaf files are shared between collaborators, are the accompanying .pfsx files also shared/copied, also on the different laptops you tried?
Because it sounds like it could be that the tier is simply hidden on that one laptop. If you are in Annotation mode you can check this by right clicking the area where the tier names are and see if the tier is listed in the Visible Tiers sub-menu. If you are in Transcription Mode you might have to click the Configure button to make the translation column visible?
This is just a first guess though.
