When you search multiple eaf files, the query seems to ignore any files with an added .001 extension. This can be a problem if these files reflect newer versions of transcriptions. Is there a way around this?
Indeed, such files are ignored by the search engine. EAF files with an additional “.00n” extension (there can be .002, .003 etc. versions too) are backup files and usually don’t reflect newer versions of the transcription than the (saved) working copy. The only way to make such files searchable is by promoting them to regular files by removing the .00n extension (possibly after moving them to a different folder).
