I just had the following problem: When using ELAN I happened to hit something on the keyboard (unfortunately without seeing what it was). After that that the bar which enables you to scroll back and forth in the timeline of the video (right at the bottom of the ELAN window) just disappeared. So far I couldn’t find out how to recover it. Does anyone have an idea, or maybe encountered the same problem? Thanks in advance for your help!

If you right-click the area of the timeline viewer to show the context popup menu, is the option “Horizontal Scrollbar Visible” selected? If not, does selecting it bring the scrollbar back?
It is, by the way, still possible to scroll horizontally by dragging the time ruler (at the top of the timeline viewer) while holding down the Alt/Option key, but this might be less convenient than using the scrollbar.
