May I suggest to add something in ELAN?
I use ELAN a lot, also for doing research in corpus data. What I would like to have added is an enumeration of the search results. The search results are always just listed and ELAN tells me e.g. “HIT 1-21” or “HIT 1-10”. Isn’t it possible to put the hit-number right at the beginning of each line? That would ease my counting by hand a lot.

We will add this to the request list.
Just to be sure: this information is available in the tooltip or “info balloon” which is shown when hovering the mouse over a line (provided the Show info balloon option is selected). So, counting by hand shouldn’t be necessary but it’s clear that having the hit number always visible can be more convenient in circumstances.
