No tiers visible in Annotation mode

Hi everyone! My ELAN 6.0 is not working as it’s supposed to on a Mac Catolina 10.15.7. More specifically, I do not see any tiers in Annotation mode after creating them or importing them. I can only see something in the Transcription mode, and even then not all tiers are shown. I have asked another person with the same OS and version of ELAN to open my file on their computer after importing tiers and they can see the imported tiers in any mode (even though they are empty as I couldn’t annotate anth).

Has anyone encountered this issue and how would you recommend to go about solving it?

Maybe, by accident, working with Tier Sets has been activated? If you right-click in the area where normally the tier names are, the popup has a menu item “Tier Set” with a sub-menu “Work with tier sets”. If this checkbox is ticked, then deselect it (the default state).
