Hi,
I’m discovering ELAN and I can’t find a way to export using CA convention and especialy the [ symbol used for overlaps.
When I select the box “use Jefferson-style alignment” it still doesn’t appear on the exported file (traditionnal transcript text).
Is there any way to solve this problem ?
Thanks a lot !
Hi,
I’m not sure if it is possible to solve the problem in the current ELAN e.g. by changing some settings. If the incorrect alignment is due to a bug in the program, we can try to repair it for a next release.
The support for alignment based on the [ symbol is relatively new and probably tested on a limited number of files, so it could well be that there are flaws in the implementation. It would be helpful if we could try to reproduce the problem with your file and settings, in case it is possible for you to share the eaf file (han.sloetjes AT mpi.nl).
