Just downloaded Simple ELAN 1.2 Windows. Interface too small to use
Hello, you can try to scale ELAN in windows but it may not work:
right click on the program file (*.exe file), choose Properties, then the Compatibility tab.
Check Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:
and chose System (or experiment with the 3 choices) Works for many programs but not all.
If the Windows scaling option don’t work or not well enough, you can open (in a text editor) the file “elan.properties”, located in the root of the Simple-ELAN install folder. Find the line containing the property “ELAN.UI.FontScaleFactor”, remove the “#” at the start of the line (if there) and change the value into e.g. “1.2” (the new font size will be 1.2 x original_size). Save the file and relaunch Simple-ELAN to see the result.
