Hello,
I have over 500 small mp3 files with filenames in the following format XXmYY.mp3
where XX are two digits (minutes); m (stands for minutes); YY are two digits (seconds). These files are mp3 downloads of voice-over software generated from translated subtitles of a documentary, and the filenames correspond to the approximate time code in the video. I would like to import all these files into one track in Audacity and placed in positions corresponding to the time codes indicated in the filenames. Is there any possibility to do that?
Hello,
I assume the point is that the mp3 files might overlap and/or there might be gaps between the files so that Audacity’s tracks->align end to end or ffmpeg -f concat etc. cannot be used?
I have no idea if there is any audio/video software that interprets file names like that for the purpose of aligning. Did you already try the Audacity discussion forum?
