Gesture space interactive grid

Hello,
I’m conducting a small experiment with the help of ELAN. I intend to count gestures made by two speakers on a video, and then divide the gestures depending on the type of gesture space where they were performed.

The question is — Is it possbile to enable/create an interactive grid which overlays currently played media (video)?

The way I imagine it, you could add (perhaps overlay it on an annotation) and individually name 1 to 5 (or more) lines that “divide” the currently played video, as for the “interactive” part, you could move the lines up or down when, for example, a camera shows a speaker from a different perspective. For easier understanding, I’m also attaching an image.

Best regards.

Hello,

Currently we do not have interactive grid which overlays the currently played media.

In the past the flow was analysed to see if it can be applied, but the outcome was that it was quite difficult to implement it considering storing of grid rows/columns per frame etc .

We can add it to the Wishlist, but the likeliness of it being implemented is less.

Best Regards
