Extract code-mix utterances with CLAN

Hello, Im new to this forum and not sure which category it goes to…please forgive me if any inconvenience is caused.

Im using CLAN to extract code-mix utterances and calculate the MLU.

I use the transcript from the Talkbank database. When there is a language shift, the ‘@s’ sign will appear after the word, e.g. ‘say 喇@s what do you want ?’ I tried to use KWAL command and +s command but it appears ‘invalid option’.

The problem may be that the ‘@s’ appears right after the word without any spaces, the program cannot search for it.

Any solutions or any other programs recommended? Thanks a lot!

Hello, it’s no problem to post the question here; there might be ELAN users who know CLAN well enough to provide you with some advise.

But it is probably best to also contact the developers/maintainers of the CLAN tools, they surely know best how to approach this problem.
