What version of ELAN works with Mac OS 10.11.6? I installed ELAN 5.0 as 5.7, 5.8, and 5.9 would not run on this OS. Is 5.0 the most recent that will work?

I would expect 5.7 to work on that MacOS version (but I might have forgotten the ELAN version-OS version specific issues). What happens exactly if you try to run 5.7?
