ELAN compatibility with Apple's new M1 chip

I was wondering if ELAN 6.1 is compatible with Apple’s new M1 chip from the new IMAC.

Hi,

We tried ELAN on an M1 MacBook and it works as far as we can see (‘under’ Rosetta 2).
There are some reports on problems with 6.1 on macOS, but those seem unrelated to the macOS version or the chip.
It is difficult to advise, but I think that anyone considering to buy new Apple hardware is best off with an M1 variant.
