I am annotating a longer video file (around 1h20min length) and have had no issues up until now. Whenever I click on segmentation mode the elan window goes blank, only showing the media file on the top left. If I try to go back to other modes, they are blank as well.
I don’t really know what to do. I tried cosing and opening ELAN, turning off the pc, tried with other shorter media files, and the issue with the segmentation mode remains unchanged. What can I do?
If you open ELAN in annotation mode do you notice the same issue ?
Do you notice any errors in the log file when you switch to segmentation mode ? Maybe you can share the log file from View → View Log to me by email (Divya.Kanekal AT mpi.nl)?
I can look for any errors being printed.
Hi! Thank you for the quick reply. I have found a solution (although temporary)
I’m working on a tight schedule, so I tried to find some alternative solutions. The only solution, in the end, was to install ELAN 6.0 which seems to be the only version who is able to display the segmentation mode (I went backwards downloading all versions from version 6.8 to 6.0).
So, atm I am working on an older version and therefore not able to send you the file log.
