I recently transcribed a 19-minute audio file on a PC. The resulting .eaf file didn’t transfer properly to my external hard drive, and the original file on the PC was lost. I tried to open the .eaf.001 file (after deleting the .001 extension), but I just get a blank ELAN window. The .eaf.001 file is 153 KB, and I know that the transcribed text is all there, because I can see it when I try to open it in Notepad as a text file. Unfortunately, the format of the text file generated in this way is not really user-friendly. Could you please suggest a solution?
Thank you!
