Counting the avarage number of word per minute

Hi,

Is there a way to count the avarage number of word per minute in one or more transcribed recordings in ELAN?

Hi,

This is not available as a single function in ELAN.

There is an option File->Export as->List of Words... which allows to include counts per word and also the total number of words in the file. But it doesn’t export the duration of the recording, so you would have to retrieve that information separately and do the math.
Which is probably doable if it doesn’t concern too many transcribed recordings.
