Can't visualize the waveforms with ELAN 6.7

Why can’t I visualize the waveforms on the ELAN interface in the 6.7 version, with a .mp4 video?

Hi,

This is still possible, only the default settings have been changed in version 6.6. Wave extraction from video now has to be enabled explicitly via the Platform/OS preferences panel. In case the spectrogram has to be visualized as well, this viewer has to be made visible via the View->Viewer menu.

I have the same problem. I’m enabling the spectrogram view form the View->Viewer menu but still I can’t see it.

I don’t know, but what maybe could be the case (if the waveform can be made visible, but not the spectrogram) is that the viewers aren’t correctly (re)sized after a change in the visibility of a viewer. In such case the divider between two viewers needs to be dragged down or up to make the other viewer actually visible.
If neither the waveform nor the spectrogram can be made visible, there might be information in the log (View->View Log...) about why it was not possible to process the audio track from a .mp4?
