Can I use the regular annotion function with different intervals for 1 video?

Hi, I’m working with the regular annotation function in ELAN. So far I couldn’t figure out if it is possible to have two different regular annotions for one video. More concretely:
I have video’s which I want to code in multiple ways with different time intervals, preferably coding them simultaneously. One type of coding concerns video intervals (annotation duration) of every 10 seconds of the video, and the other one a code concerning every 2 minutes… Is that actually possible in ELAN?

Thank you a lot for your help!

Hi, yes that should be possible, if I understand the situation correctly.
You can apply the regular annotation function as often as you like. You’ll need different tiers for the different types of coding anyway, so you can apply regular annotations once with a 10 seconds interval for one tier and once with a 2 minutes interval for another tier. You’ll have to create those tiers first before you can apply the regular annotation function.
