Hi everyone,
I’ve worked with ELAN 4.6.2 since its last update. Unfortunatelly, it is very frequent that the programme stops working, and all I can get is a totally black screen where I cannot even save my work. Has anybody experienced the same problem? Could it be a problem with java? I think I have java 7 though. Any help is welcome, thank you.
Yes, it would be good to know if other users recognize the problem. I don’t think I’ve seen a description of the black screen before.
On what operating system is this? Do you see a warning message just before you get the black screen?

Yes I’m having the same issue I’ve had this happen a few times over the last couple months and lost all my coding.
It would still be useful to have some more information about the operating system, the ELAN version (if it is not 4.6.2) and whether the problem maybe can be linked to specific events or actions etc.
