Auto backup doesn't seem to work

Auto backup doesn’t seem to work. I’m using version 6.2-M1.

Hi Jeff,

  • At what intervals the Automatic Backup is set to?
    Automatic backups can only be made after a file has been saved.

  • Do you see the eaf.001 file in the folder where you have saved the original copy?
    If yes, then do you see no changes when you open those files?

I tested the auto backup feature on ELAN_6.2_M1 version and I see the files being created and also when I rename them with only eaf extension and open them I see the new changes.

Could you also share the Edit->Preferences ->Edit Preferences → Preferences tab to see if those settings are any different in mine.

I didn’t back it up initially. Now it works! Thanks.
