I recently downloaded the new ELAN 7.0 version and was excited by the new audio spectrogram feature. However, it is not playing audio for me. Is there some setting I need to configure in order to enable the audio feature? The viewer and annotation editing work fine.

What platform are you using ? When you play the audio do you notice any errors in the log ?
You can save the log file from View → View log and send it to me (Divya.Kanekal AT mpi.nl ).
In the Edit->Preferences->Edit Preferences ->Platform/OS tab, what is the option selected
under “Extraction of audio samples from video for audio visualisations” ?
You can also try one of our ACLEW example videos from here and see if you notice the same issue.
