About Lochhang Musical Instruments
A discussion about the profession of being a priest of the old Tangsa religion, as told to Meenaxi Barkotoki by Dumsa Jengchan Shangke in the presence of Nongtang Langching in Heve Ninggam village. Although the Dumsa was Shangke, he first spoke to Nongtang and me in a mixture of Assamese and Langching and later when I asked him to say a prayer as he normally would, spoke mainly in Langching. This might be because although Shangke himself the village of Heve NInggam where he lives has a large Langching population.
