The role of speed of processing in early lexical development
This sub-collection contains the materials, data and scripts used for the InGaze study conducted by Julia Egger. Project 1 consists of an eye-tracking study conducted with 18-mont-old infants, in which we tested a new gaze-triggered looking-while listening paradigm and measured infants’ lexical processing speed in both the new and the original paradigm. Project 2 uses the same eye-tracking data and investigates it in combination with parental speech input measures, recorded directly after the eye-tracking study. Additionally, we asked the parents of our participants to fill in Dutch vocabulary knowledge questionnaires for the infants (N-CDI) at the ages 18, 24 & 30.
