The speaker is supposed to describe the picture story to the addressee. The addressee listens and retells the story. The addressee does not see the screen.

Charlie Chaplin 3: A man walks down to the riverside and puts a rope around his neck. CC passes by and sees the man. He approaches and tries to remove the rope from the man's neck but then the man accidentally puts the rope around both his and CC's necks. He then bends down to pick up the rock attached to the other end of the rope. The rope slips from his neck and now only CC is attached to it. The man throws the rock into the water, and CC flies into the river. The man tries to pull him out but also falls in.
