ND5eJAS-ALI
The puzzle used in this session was designed to elicit finite constructions with the verbs 'wash', 'give' and 'bite'. The picture books that were used after the elicitation game were "Hier bin ich zu Hause" (Eberhard & Scheffler) and "Bei uns im Dorf" (Mitgutsch). The elicitation task was clearly too difficult for these children: they put the pieces in, but did not describe the events depicted on the puzzle pieces. JAS was very silent all through this session, but ALI was rather talkative, especially while looking at the pictures in the picture books.

The book "Bij Kiki thuis" depicts a girl who is walking around and playing in different rooms of her house. The children were not very interested in these pictures and got a bit bored after a while. They were more talkative when the speech therapist asked them to tell her about their pets and the things they do when they are at home.
