Top09_GNM_3_4-fun-misunderst-dial2
The speaker uses a couple of stories from her childhood to illustrate differences between Even dialects. The context is the migration of some 50 Evens from the Allakh-Jun' region (close to the Sea of Okhotsk coast) to her home region, Tompo, in the late 1950s/early 1960. The topic of the anecdotes is the misunderstandings the Tompo Evens had with the newcomers due to dialectal differences.
