Translation of Queneau
Maria Alzira Roque Gameiro (MD009) translated one of the stories (“Récit”) of the book “Exercices de style” (1947) by Raymond Queneau. The translation was published in the glossary “Piação dos Charales do Ninhou” edited by Centro de Artes e Ofícios Roque Gameiro in 2004. The text was read aloud by MD009 in Museu de Aguarela Roque Gameiro in Minde.
The ant and the grasshopper
The translation of the fable “The ant and the grasshopper” was published by CIDLeS (Interdisciplinary Centre for Social and Language Documentation) in “Touquim Xaral”, a Minderico course delivered in 12 issues; its author is unknown.
Fable by Fatima Capela
The fable “Os do noé” was written by Fátima Capela (MD017) in the context of Minderico lessons. It reports on the animals’ insurrection against their owners, because of the hard work they were obliged to do. It will be later part of children’s book in Minderico that the community is developing.
