A woman lamenting her husband (a member of the Medicine Rite) was offered (by the remaining 3 members of the MR) to obtain the knowledge of her husband's religion. To do so she was to "strech her body for them". Instead she accepted her son's help. From this time on poisoning was introduced in the MR to cause one another to be "sore at heart".
The text is about the second war between the Winnebago/Hoocąks and the Foxes in the 18th century (1728-1737). In this great war the Winnebago faught with the French, Menominee and Ojibwe against the Foxes. Our consultants have not heard the story before.

This story is about two elderly men who hit a deer with their car. Thinking it was dead they threw it into the back. The deer, however, came back to consciousness.
MS11 tells a story about woodcutter. They couldn't prognose in which direction the tree fell after chopping it down. So they tried to run away from it.
MS12 prays for MS31's and his family's health and well being and also askes God/the Earthmaker to be with all the young people, the families and with the prisoners. He asks for blessings for all of them.
