Some template-related observations and questions.

  1. When you create a session using a template other than default, the new fields you created for this template are only accessible as long as the template keeps being selected in the Options menu. Template specific fields should be accessible all the time in sessions created with the template.
  2. How can I use custom CVs in my own templates?
  3. Will there be a GUI tool for creating templates or will editing files manually remain the only way?

I believe the issue with the session not holding its originating template is now resolved. Could you confirm that this is the case?

To create a custom CV (controlled vocabulary) you can edit the xml component in the template. An example component looks like this:

With the additions I am working on for Clarin there will also be a template dialogue that will ease (but not automate) the management of templates.
