I’m working on an ELAN file and I have to be really precise regarding my annotations. Sometimes when I try to align an annotation with a certain frame using Ctrl + Shift + M, the annotation refuses to move to that frame. When I zoom in, click and drag the boundary of the annotation it will move to the frame I want it to move to. However, when I drag the first boundary of an annotation to the frame where I want it to be, and then change the second boundary, the first one tends to jump a frame backwards. When I do it the other way around (move the second boundary first and then move the first boundary) this doesn’t happen. I hope this post makes sense and that someone can help me!
Best,
Leah
